THANKS for all the emails, texts, prayers and communication.
We have been blessed to be able to be with mom since last Saturday started. Rena was the one who called and made sure mom got help. Jeff and I went over and found her in need. We called 911 and the spiral of help was there. Rena had stayed with her for the night. We four take shifts on being with her.
Last night Monday, she spoke twice with me, She was excited hear me tell her Reta will be flying out this weekend. It brought a smile to her face. She opened her eyes and said, " When is Reta coming?" Then fell back asleep. She also opened her eyes and said, "Where are Jeff and the kids too?" She opens her eyes , looks around and then falls back asleep. The Drs and nurse have a great team caring for her. Every 15 minutes or so, they poke, probe, put meds in andask her questions. They touch her chest and ask where are you? Do you know where you are? They ask her to look up , down, left, right, lift her knee, hands and legs etc. She does it on command and sometimes slowly. They are watching for spasms. The dr's showed us xrays and the coil in her brain. Paperwork was gien to us so we know what she has.
Tuesday, Mom's granddaughter, Aria, will be with during the day. We will be there this afternoon. We will be taking Aria back to school this Monday, Labor Day. We are all taking care of moms house too. We had a hurricane Sunday so we are dealing with this too.
Rena lives 30-40 minutes away while we live 10- 15 minutes away from the hospital.
Please continue to pray. She is where she needs to be stable as of last night. They did cat scans to see how she is doing and ultrasounds.
PRAY! God is in control.
