The family wishes to thank Mom's rehabilitation team and the entire Whittier staff. The
talent and care of service has been exceptional. They are truly God sent.

homes plus Westborough's finest establishments!) was an incredible
opportunity to reflect, contact and re-energize.
9/23/11 Mom's life-long friends, Milton & Berit Steen, were her first visitors at Whittier.
They continue to visit Mom (at random times...how fun is that?) and encourage her
to work hard on her recovery. We love you very much Uncle Milton and Auntie Berit!
Morning devotional readings with Reta were a foundation to Mom’s recovery process.
9/23/11 (Day 28) Mom is standing (not a dry eye in the hospital with
the exception of Reta and Mom's therapists - as they were busy working).
Inspired by one of the Whittier therapist asking Mom "Who are you?",
this book was created to answer this question and to be used
as a rehabilitation tool countless times over.
With son Ray constantly focusing on the won-ton therapy!

77 Main Circle - Mom's home
Daily trips around the hospital include a visit to the out-patient facility.
Mom's ability to sit up for an extended peirod of time was therapy onto itself.
With Tyler and Renee during a visit.
9/24/11: A wonderful break included celebrating Jeremy's birthday. Coincidentally, Rena's mother-in-law had a stroke a year prior to Mom's event. The insight and perspective that the Guerin family gave our family was invaluable.
SKYPING and viewing photos on an IPAD
(Thank you & RIP Steve Jobs - his body-of-work continues
to play a vital role in Mom's recovery process.)

Dearest Ramona,
ReplyDeleteYou have always been a beautiful child of God. And now He has blessed you and surrounded you with your children that you have always prayed for. Now as they cover you like a blanket of prayer, courage and love, may you grow strong and well and be blessed with many good years ahead of you. I LOVE YOU RAMONA! Miss you too, Moana
Auntie May,
ReplyDeleteYou are as beautiful as ever and truly God has answered our prayers as I see these pictures! Praise God! I have prayed that in your darkest moments that you would never feel alone, because you would know that Jesus was always there. I loved seeing all these pictures, and they brought tears and joy to my heart. I reached out and touched each of you and asked God's hand to continually be upon all of you. I love and miss you all. I am so thankful Jonathan and his family were able to see you! And, the funniest pictures of all were those with Jered, who is an exact replica of cousin Ray! OMG!
Auntie May, my prayers are continually with you. You remain a blessing to us all.
Love and Hugs!
Arlene:)
