Most of the morning, Mom slept and was given pain medication.
We received great news that the blood level report again showed no drop in her blood, hence, her bleeding has stopped! By early afternoon, she was fairly alert and they sat her up to see if she would take commands to move the right hand side of her body. Unfortunately, she was unable to move the right side (hand and foot) as she is far weaker on this side, and the doctors decided to perform another angiogram.
During the procedure, they found that there was a mild narrowing of the vessels- far less than the last one - determining the dwindling risk from vasospasm! Hoorah! They did place medicine in the vessel and Mom is now once again resting and sleeping. They will continue to monitor her blood levels twice a day, while checking her blood pressure, sugar level and all the rest. You can't imagine how strong of a woman our mother is with all the poking and prodding that she's endured. Her strength is amazing and we are so proud of her!
With the lowering risk of vasospasms, we trust that Mom is well on her way to continue healing.
Lastly, Mom has really good health insurance and we have begun looking into the rehabilitation centers that will assist her in getting back to true form in the coming weeks.
